Tractor-Trailer Driver Injured In Surry County Crash
The driver of a tractor-trailer suffered personal injuries in a crash on Highway 52 South near Cook School Road in Pilot Mountain early on the morning of January 13.
Surry County EMS spokesman John Shelton said the crash took place at approximately 2 a.m. The driver, Sanford, Kentucky resident Jeffrey Board, was hauling bundles of tobacco when the truck rolled after running off the road.
Board was not wearing his seat belt and was partially ejected during the crash. He received transport to Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center, where he was listed in stable condition.
