Toes Run Over In Road Rage Incident In Sanford

Authorities said that two men sustained minor personal injuries on the night of February 23 after a Toyota ran over their toes in an apparent bout of road rage.

Lt. Van Holly of the Lee County Sheriff’s Office said the incident took place around 11 p.m. on Lemon Springs Road near the intersection with St. Andrews Road in Sanford.

Holly said that 18-year-old Cameron resident Joseph Kiser and 19-year-old Sanford resident Brandon Parker said they were traveling on Lemon Springs Road when a gold-colored Toyota Camry began closely following their vehicle.

Kiser and Parker pulled to the side of the road to confront the driver and an argument ensued, according to Holly. The men were standing in the road when the Camry’s driver began to leave.

Holly said the driver of the Camry drove toward Kiser and Parker, running over the toes of both men and scraping Kiser’s right leg.
