Three Injured In Halifax County Crash
On the afternoon of April 3, three people suffered personal injuries in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 95 in Halifax County near Enfield.
According to the North Carolina Highway Patrol, shortly before 5 p.m., the driver of a white Range Rover ran off the road and overcorrected, causing the sport utility vehicle to overturn several times.
The SUV’s front-seat passenger was ejected during the crash. That person received helicopter transport to Pitt Memorial Hospital for injuries that were considered to be life-threatening, according to troopers.
The driver and backseat passenger received ambulance transport to Halifax Regional Medical Center.
More details about the crash, including the identity of the people involved, have yet to be released.
