Suspect Sought In Fatal Accident
A suspect has been named in a fatal hit-and-run accident that killed two people in Durham.
N.C. State Troopers are looking for Tanilo Rosales, 19, from Mexico. Rosales owned the Chevrolet Blazer involved in an accident on U.S. Highway 70 in Durham on Saturday.
According to troopers, around 1:15 a.m. the Blazer and a Ford Taurus station wagon were racing along U.S. 70. The Taurus reduced speed and was struck from behind by the Blazer. The impact sent the Taurus off the right side of the road and caused it to crash into a tree.
Timothy Parrish, Jr., 24, driver of the Taurus was ejected from the vehicle. Bryant Mitchell, 37, was a passenger. Mitchell was pinned in the vehicle.
Both were pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
