Suit Filed Over Collision At Gas Pump

A man has filed a personal injury suit claiming that a driver struck his car as it was parked at a gas pump.

According to the suit Derrick Streeper filed on July 9 in Illinois’ Madison County Circuit Court, naming Margaret E. Hill as a defendant, he parked his 2005 General Motors Sierra 4x2 truck at a gas pump at Casey’s General Store in Alton, Illinois on July 11 when it was struck by a 2004 International Straight truck driven by Hill in the parking lot.

The suit claims that at the time of the incident, Hill made an improper turn, causing her vehicle to collide with Streeper’s vehicle.

Streeper says that the collision caused him to suffer neck, back, shoulder, and other bodily injuries, incur medical expenses, be prevented from attending to his normal duties and affairs, sustain property damage, and lose wages.
