Suit Filed Over Attack By Three Boxers

A resident of Billings, Montana filed a personal injury suit in District Court after she was bitten by a dog in July.

Laurah Person has filed suit seeking damages for medical costs, lost income, physical disfigurement, and other damages.

Peron says that in July, she was attacked by three boxers as she was working on her lawn, causing her to suffer damage to her leg and arm. The dogs also attacked one of her two shelties. The neighbor’s insurance partially paid for the veterinary bills.

The boxers’ owner, Leon Garcia, has already pleaded guilty to six charges, including three counts of owning a potentially dangerous dog.
