Suit Claims Woman Suffered Injuries While Being Tossed To And Fro In Collision
A woman has filed suit against another woman over the personal injuries she allegedly suffered to her back and hip when she was tossed to and fro in her vehicle following a collision.
According to the suit filed by Mildred I. Trumpet in Illinois’ St. Clair County Circuit Court on April 22, she was southbound in a 1996 Buick Regal on May 16, 2007, when she was struck at an intersection by the westbound vehicle of Dora J. Clark.
Trumpet claims that in addition to her injuries, she also experienced great pain and mental anguish and incurred medical expenses.
The suit alleges negligence on the part of Clark for failure to obey a traffic control device, failure to stop in order to avoid a collision, and failure to maintain proper control of her vehicle.
Trumpet seeks damages of more than $50,000.
