The North Carolina Highway Patrol reported that a Delco woman suffered fatal personal injuries on April 8 in a two-vehicle crash on N.C. 11, approximately two miles north of Riegelwood.

A spokeswoman said that the death marks the sixth reported traffic fatality in as many days in Columbus County.

According to Trooper C.R. Ransom’s report, 52-year-old Hariett Kincaid Snyder died shortly after the crash, which took place at around 7 a.m.

The report said Snyder was pulling out of a driveway and onto the highway in a 2005 Chrysler when the vehicle was struck by a northbound 1988 Chevrolet driven by 51-year-old Delco resident Anthony Smith.
