Six Hospitalized After Gaston County Crash
On May 8, a Gaston County crash in which six people required hospital transport for the personal injuries they suffered was under investigation by the North Carolina Highway Patrol.
According to troopers, a pickup truck crossed the center line on Crowder’s Creek Road and clipped the trailer of a second truck that was headed in the opposite direction. Investigators say it then collided with a third vehicle.
Four people received helicopter transport to local hospitals. Two others received ambulance transport.
According to firefighters, all six were believed to have sustained injuries considered to be serious or life-threatening.
