Seven Injured In Collision Involving Charlotte School Bus

Seven people have suffered personal injuries in a Charlotte collision between a school bus and a car.

According to reports from multiple media outlets, the car and bus were both en route to Cochrane Middle School when they collided at around 8:30 a.m. on May 6.

Authorities say that none of the injuries suffered appear to be serious. According to a Medic spokeswoman, five people on the bus and a mother and baby from the car received transport to Presbyterian Hospital for treatment.

According to a school district spokeswoman, the bus was transporting 46 students. The students who did not require hospital transport were placed on another bus and taken to school.
