Sanford Man Killed In Motorcycle Crash

According to the North Carolina Highway Patrol, a Sanford man died on May 1 from the personal injuries he suffered when his motorcycle collided with a woman’s car at the intersection of Cool Springs Road and U.S. 421.

Sgt. V.E. Terry of the state Highway Patrol said that Brandon Rodney Brown was northbound on U.S. 421 at approximately 8 a.m. when a 2006 Ford pulled out in front of him at the Cool Springs Road intersection. The resulting collision caused the car’s driver, Mamers resident Victoria Lorraine Allen, to sustain injuries and ejected Brown from his motorcycle.

According to Terry, both Allen and Brown received transport to Coastal Carolina Hospital in Sanford, where Brown later died.
