RV Driver Flees After Causing Raleigh Crash
Police say they are searching for a woman who abandoned her RV after causing a multiple-vehicle crash, resulting in personal injuries, at a busy intersection in Raleigh on October 22.
The crash, which involved a total of nine vehicles, took place shortly after 8 p.m. at the intersection of Capital Boulevard and Brentwood Road and caused both roads to be closed.
According to police, the 9-car pileup was caused by the RV rear-ending several vehicles that had stopped for a red light. The driver of the RV exited the vehicle and fled the scene after the crash. Police have not yet located her.
None of the injuries caused by the crash are believed to have been serious, but one person had to be extracted from an overturned vehicle.
