Road Rage Leads to Award for Plaintiff
The plaintiff, Mr. Darin Miller was driving his 2004 GMC work truck on to the on-ramp of I-526 on January of 2006 and was riding behind the defendants Todd Cole and James Ouvry. Mr. Ouvry was involved in a road rage incident and slammed on his breaks.Which caused a chain reaction that resulted in the plaintiff hitting the rear of Mr. Cole’s vehicle.
The plaintiff alleged that the defendant Mr. Ouvry caused the accident resulting in his lumbar injuries. Mr. Miller said that he had annular tears at L4-L5 and bulging discs at two other adjacent levels of the lumbar spine. He was claiming $60,000 in past medical bills.
Defendant Ouvry settled the case for $600,000.
