Raleigh Woman Critically Injured In Crash
A woman from Raleigh suffered critical personal injuries on the morning of January 16 when her car crossed into oncoming traffic on Glenwood Avenue in Raleigh and collided head-on with another vehicle.
According to Raleigh Police, 28-year-old Robin Olivia Davis was westbound on Glenwood shortly after 7 a.m. when she crossed the median and entered the eastbound lane.
The 1999 Chrysler Davis was driving went airborne, overturned, and collided with a 2001 Ford truck driven by 56-year-old Garner resident Stephen Thorpe Diller. Police say she was partially ejected and required transport to WakeMed.
Diller suffered minor injuries and received treatment at the scene.
Police believe Davis may have been impaired at the time of the crash.
