Raleigh Accident Claims Life
A woman was killed and three others were injured in a three-car accident on Capital Boulevard on Sunday morning.
Teresa Bordeoux, driving a Honda had stopped at a red light in the right turn lane of Capital Boulevard.
Keosha Patton, driving a PT Cruiser approached the intersection where Bordeoux had stopped. A SUV was in the side lane beside the Honda. Patton did not see the Honda because of the SUV and entered into Bordeoux’s lane.
The Honda, being struck by Patton, jumped the median, and sideswiped a Pontiac driven by Sharde Jones.
Bordeoux was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
She had two passengers riding with her: Gary Bryant and Cassandra Carroll. They were transported to WakeMed.
Patton was charged with death by motor vehicle, speeding and failing to reduce speed to avoid a collision.
