Railroad Employee Files Suit After Heavy Lifting
A man has filed a personal injury suit against Union Pacific Railroad Company, alleging that he suffered injuries to his back while working for the company.
According to the suit filed on March 19 in Texas’ Jefferson County District Court by Bruce Bynum, he was working for the railroad on January 14 when he suffered the injuries as he was attempting to lift an 80-pound knuckle.
Bynum claims the incident, which occurred within the scope of his employment, caused him to experience past and future mental anguish, physical pain, loss of wages, and physical impairment. He also claims that he incurred medical costs and suffered disfigurement.
Bynum seeks unspecified damages.
