A woman has filed suit against Pfizer and one of its employees, claiming she sustained personal injuries in a collision.
According to the suit she filed in Illinois’ St. Clair County Circuit Court on February 17, Elizabeth Thompson had stopped for construction on Interstate 64 at approximately 5 p.m. on the day of the crash when Angela Hobick, who was working for Pfizer, failed to stop in time and collided with the rear of the stopped vehicles, resulting in a multi-car collision.
Thompson claims the accident caused him to suffer bruises to the head and face, traumatic headaches, cervical disc inflammation spinal disc bulging and impingement, and lost enjoyment of life. She also claims lost wages and medical costs.
The suit alleges negligence on the part of Hobick for failure to yield to stopped traffic, failure to maintain a proper lookout, and colliding with the rear of Thompson’s vehicle. The suit claims negligence on the part of Pfizer for its hiring of Hobick.
Thompson seeks damages in excess of $100,000, plus costs, from the two-count suit.Post a Comment to "Pfizer Blamed For Multi-Car Accident"
