Pedestrian Killed In Fayetteville Hit-And-Run
According to police, a pedestrian died of the personal injuries he suffered after being struck by a car on Eastern Boulevard near Grove Street in Fayetteville.
After striking the man at approximately 8:45 p.m., the driver fled the scene.
The pedestrian received transport to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, where he later died. Police have withheld the man’s name until his next of kin are notified.
The accident remains under investigation.
