Pedestrian Killed In Fayetteville Hit-And-Run Identified As Homeless Man
Police have identified the pedestrian who suffered fatal personal injuries in a hit-and-run on September 22 as 63-year-old Carson Harrell.
According to Fayetteville police, Harrell, who was homeless, died after being struck by a vehicle on Eastern Boulevard near Grove Street at approximately 8:45 p.m. The driver then fled the scene.
Harrell received transport to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center after the crash, where he was later pronounced dead.
The police are continuing to investigate the crash.
