Passenger Files Suit Against Driver After Car Overturns Several Times

A man has filed a personal injury suit against the driver of a vehicle he was a passenger in that ran off the road and overturned multiple times.

According to the suit Bradley Brown filed on February 22 in Illinois’ Madison County Circuit Court, he was the passenger in a 2003 Ford Mustang driven by Shelby K. Diepenbrock when she lost control of the vehicle and it left the highway and flipped several times.

Brown claims the accident caused him to suffer injuries to both of his knees requiring surgery, injuries to his head, neck, arms, and back, and great pain and mental anguish, become disabled, experience loss of normal life, and incur medical expenses.

The suit alleges negligence on the part of Diepenbrock for failure to maintain proper control of the vehicle, failure to stop the vehicle in a timely manner to avoid a collision, and driving too fast.

Brown seeks damages in excess of $50,000, plus costs.
