One Seriously Injured In Charlotte Crash
On the afternoon of May 7, one person suffered personal injuries in a crash in southern Charlotte in which a vehicle overturned at the Providence Road/Arboretum Drive intersection.
Firefighters and police in Charlotte responded to the scene at around 3:45 p.m.
The SKY3 helicopter from Charlotte’s WBTV flew over the scene about 30 minutes later and showed footage of a vehicle resting on its roof and at least three other vehicles that were apparently involved in the crash.
According to a spokesperson from MEDIC, Charlotte’s ambulance service, one person traveling in the overturned vehicle sustained injuries believed to be life-threatening and received transport to Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte.
