One Person Killed, 12-Year-Old Injured In Raleigh Collision Between Minivan And Motorcycle
On the morning of July 28, one person died and a 12-year-old child suffered personal injuries in a collision involving a minivan and a motorcycle in Raleigh.
North Carolina State Troopers say that at approximately 7:30 a.m., the minivan turned in front of the motorcycle while traveling along Mt. Vernon Church Road near Liberty Woods Way in northern Raleigh.
Whether the deceased person was riding in the van or on the motorcycle was uncertain.
A 12-year-old who was a passenger in the van suffered injuries and received hospital transport, but state troopers did not reveal the severity of the child’s injuries, the child’s name, or the name of the hospital the child was taken to.
The identities of the people involved in the collision have not yet been released.
