One Injured In Aberdeen Collision
According to the North Carolina Highway Patrol, speed was a factor in a collision on October 24 in which one person was injured on N.C. 211 near Seven Lakes.
Trooper B.J. Smith said the accident was reported shortly after 7:30 p.m.
Smith said 24-year-old Fort Mills, South Carolina resident German Reyes Luna was eastbound in a 1991 Honda when his vehicle crossed the center line and slid sideways into the front of a 2007 Jeep driven by 29-year-old Seagrove resident Crystal Chriscoe Lincoln.
Luna received transport to Duke University Hospital to undergo treatment. He was released the following morning. Smith said Lincoln was unharmed in the crash.
Smith said that Luna was exceeding the 55-mph speed limit at the time of the crash.
