One Dead, One Injured In High Point Collision

Police are investigating an accident in High Point in which a woman suffered fatal personal injuries on December 10.

According to police, around 5 p.m., a woman was making a left turn onto Sandy Ridge Road from John Knox Drive and pulled out in front of an oncoming Jeep Wrangler driven by Kernersville resident Justin Boyd.

Boyd was unable to avoid a collision with the woman’s car, according to police.

Investigators said the woman died in the accident and Boyd sustained minor injuries.
