One Dead, One Injured In Fayetteville Crash
One person died and another suffered personal injuries when a sport utility vehicle collided with a tree on Pamalee Drive in Fayetteville on the morning of June 12.
Police have not released the names of the individuals involved, but said that a man died and a woman received transport to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center with injuries that were not considered to be life-threatening.
According to a news release from the Fayetteville Police Department, the collision was reported shortly after 4:45 a.m. The vehicle was eastbound at a high rate of speed when the driver lost control, causing the vehicle to run off the road and strike a tree.
