North Carolina Holds Annual Workers’ Compensation Educational Conference

The 14th annual North Carolina Workers’ Compensation Educational Conference is taking place in Raleigh during the third weekend in October.

The workers’ comp conference, which is sponsored by the North Carolina Industrial Commission, will be held at the Sheraton Raleigh Hotel & The Raleigh Marriott City Center on October 13, October 14, and October 15.

The goal of the conference is to not only educate those involved in the North Carolina workers’ compensation system, but also to create a constructive and enlightening dialogue between all of the participating members. According to conference materials, employers, claims adjusters, self-insurers, third-party administrators, safety and HR managers, attorneys and paralegals, medical providers, mediators and rehabilitation providers are all welcomed and encouraged to attend. Topics include NC workers’ comp laws, policies, recent changes, and forms.
