Reality TV star Nicole Richie suffered personal injuries in a collision in Beverly Hills on October 5.
According to Beverly Hills police Lt. Mike Hill, the 28-year-old celebrity was traveling along Wilshire Blvd. in a Land Rover when a photographer, who was driving without a license, collided with the rear of her vehicle.
Hill said that Richie complained of pain, but refused ambulance transport and chose to seek her own treatment.
Hill said the driver of the other vehicle, 29-year-old freelance photographer Edwardo Arrivebene, was arrested on suspicion of driving without a license.
Hill said he did not know if there were any passengers in either vehicle.
Richie is a month removed from giving birth to Sparrow James Midnight Madden, her second child with 30-year-old musician Joel Madden. Their daughter, Harlow, turns 2 in January.
Richie, the daughter of singer Lionel Richie, became a clothing and accessories designer after starring alongside Paris Hilton on the reality show “The Simple Life.” Her husband is in the band Good Charlotte and runs the DCMA Collective clothing line alongside his twin brother, Benji.
