Motorist Charged in Fatal Accident

A woman was cited for causing a fatal accident near the intersection of Yadkin and Lake Valley roads in Fayetteville, N.C. on September 20.

Georgia Houston, of Fayetteville was charged with misdemeanor death by vehicle, according to a report. Houston’s vehicle turned into the path of a motorcycle, operated by Ryan Ciszkowski, also of Fayetteville.

Mr. Ciszkowski had to be airlifted to UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill, where he died on September 21 of the injuries he received in the accident.

It does not take a great deal of speed to cause tragic, fatal accidents. Houston is clearly negligent and liable to Mr. Ciszkowski’s family for all damages resulting from his untimely death.
