Police have identified a man who suffered fatal personal injuries when his motorcycle was struck by a vehicle on Seventy-First School Road in Fayetteville on April 23 as 35-year-old Fayetteville resident Carson Morris.

The other driver fled the scene and is being sought by police.

Fayetteville police said Morris died in the accident, which took place shortly after 9 p.m. at the intersection of Seventy-First School Road and Bunce Road.

Morris was northbound on Seventy-First School Road on a 2006 Suzuki when he was struck by a southbound 2005 Ford that turned left onto Bunce Road. The Ford did not stop after the collision, police said.
