Motorcyclist Dead After Being Struck By Car In Wake County

According to the North Carolina Highway Patrol, a motorcyclist suffered fatal personal injuries in an accident with a car near Falls Lake in Wake County on the night of August 6.

 

The accident occurred on Old Weaver Trail. Troopers say the car made a left turn into the motorcycle’s path.

 

The motorcycle’s driver, 62-year-old Wake Forest resident Randy Lewis, was ejected.

 

The car’s driver, Creedmoor resident Brenda Gurley, received transport to Durham Regional Hospital with injuries that were not considered to be life-threatening.
