Morrisville Man Critically Injured In Durham Wreck
A man from Morrisville suffered critical personal injuries on the night of April 21 in a two-vehicle wreck on Page Road and T.W. Alexander Drive, according to Durham police.
Police investigators say that shortly before 7 p.m., a Nissan 240SX driven by 44-year-old Morrisville resident Michael Thomas Rhodes apparently ran a stop sign and pulled in front of a Toyota pickup truck driven by 36-year-old Timberlake resident Richard Christopher Cates.
Rhodes was attempting to turn left from an exit on T.W. Alexander Drive onto Page Road and Cates was traveling north on Page Road at the time of the crash.
Rhodes received transport to Duke Hospital with injuries considered to be critical. Cates sustained minor injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
