Man Struck On Hope Mills Road While Inspecting Damage From Prior Accident
According to police, a man suffered personal injuries on Hope Mills Road on the morning of May 20 after he exited his car in order to check damage from a collision that occurred moments prior.
The accident was reported around 11:30 a.m.
According to Fayetteville police spokesman Dan Grubb, 46-year-old Hope Mills resident Reinaldo Maldonado was struck in the leg while inspecting the damage to his vehicle.
Grubb said that Maldonado received transport to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, where he underwent treatment for a minor injury.
