A North Carolina official says that a 72-year-old man suffered personal injuries in a crash involving a small plane near a small airstrip in Wilmington.

According to New Hanover County sheriff’s Cpl. J.J. Brewer, pilot Ted G. Stone received transport to a local hospital with a broken leg and multiple cuts.
