An Illinois man has filed a personal injury suit, alleging that he suffered injuries to his neck, shoulder, and lower back after being rear-ended by another man.
According to the suit he filed in Illinois’ Madison County Circuit Court on February 2, Denis Ridgeway was northbound in his vehicle on November 13, 2007 when the vehicle driven by Ed Barnes collided with the rear of his vehicle.
Ridgeway claims that in addition to the injuries he suffered, he also suffered sickness, soreness, lameness, disorder, and disability and incurred medical expenses. He is also claiming pain and suffering and loss of wages.
The suit alleges negligence on the part of Barnes for failure to maintain a proper lookout, driving in a manner that caused him to collide with the rear of Ridgeway’s vehicle, failure to properly apply his vehicle’s brakes, driving at an excessive speed, and following too closely.
Ridgeway seeks damages in excess of $50,000, plus costs.Post a Comment to "Man Files Suit For Rear-End Collision Injuries"
