A man has filed a personal injury suit against an Indiana woman he claims was speeding and under the influence of alcohol when she turned in front of him, causing a crash.
David Sanders filed suit on November 17 in Illinois’ Madison County Circuit Court, naming Michelle Griffin as a defendant.
The suit said the crash took place in January. Sanders was heading west and Griffin was heading east. Griffin attempted to make a left-hand turn immediately in front of Edwards, causing the two to collide.
The suit alleges that at the time of the crash, Griffin was allegedly speeding and under the influence of alcohol.
Sanders claims the accident caused him to suffer injuries to his neck, back, and head. He seeks damages between $50,000 and $75,000 to cover medical expenses, pain, mental anguish, and a loss of wages.
