Man Claims Rear-End Collision Caused Permanent Injuries

A man has filed a personal injury suit against a woman over an August 18, 2007 automobile accident.

The suit Keith Melton filed against Hanna Stillwagon on May 15 in Illinois’ Madison County Circuit Court says that on the day of the incident, he was westbound in his 1994 Jeep Wrangler and had stopped in traffic near an intersection when he was rear-ended by a 2003 Toyota Corolla driven by Stillwagon.

The suit alleges negligence on the part of Stillwagon for failure to maintain proper control of her vehicle, failure to see his vehicle, driving at an unsafe speed, and failure to reduce her speed in order to avoid a collision.

Melton claims the incident has caused him to suffer severe and permanent personal injuries, both externally and internally, to his back and legs and be made sick, sore, lame, and disordered.
