Man Claims Crane Accident Crushed Hand
A man from Louisiana has filed a personal injury suit against Rowan Companies, claiming that a crane mishap caused his fingers to be crushed.
According to the suit Mark Dummond filed in Texas’ Jefferson County District Court on July 22, he was employed by Cross Services and working in Rowan’s Sabine, Texas yard on November 17 when a crane operator employed by Rowan dropped a gear into a gear box, crushing Dummond’s fingers.
Dummond claims the incident has caused him to experience physical pain, mental anguish, lost wages, and an impaired earning capacity.
Additionally, Dummond claims he has incurred medical expenses and is no longer able to perform household services.
Dummond seeks actual and exemplary damages, plus costs.
