Lumberton Man Killed In Crash
According to the North Carolina Highway Patrol, a man from Lumberton died of the personal injuries he suffered on October 10 when his car overturned on Howell Road, ejecting him.
According to the accident report, 35-year-old Edgar Felix Jimenez was eastbound when his vehicle ran off the road, he pulled it back on the road, and then the vehicle ran off the road a second time, hit a ditch, and overturned.
The report says that Jimenez was not wearing his seat belt at the time of the crash and was ejected.
At the time of the crash, Jimenez was reported to have been traveling at an approximate speed of 70 mph in a 55 mph zone.
