Hope Mills Woman Killed In ATV Accident

On November 10, a woman from Hope Mills died of the personal injuries she suffered when her ATV overturned, pinning her underneath.

According to a report from the Hope Mills Police Department, the accident was reported shortly before 6 p.m. in a wooded area behind Hunting Path Drive in the Fox Meadow neighborhood.

The report says that Heather Nicole Campbell, who had just turned 21 on November 5, died at the scene.

According to the report, Campbell was southbound through a wooded area when the ATV overturned after striking a tree. Campbell was ejected as the vehicle flipped into a ravine, where it landed on top of her.
