Hope Mills, NC Accident Claims Lives | Raleigh Car Accident Lawyers
An accident on Monday, May 4 claimed the lives of a man and woman from Hope Mills. The accident occurred on U.S. 74-76 near Delco. Sean Jackson, along with his passenger, Sarah Grantham died en-route to New Hanover Regional Hospital in Wilmington.
Jackson was headed south on N.C. 87 and ran the stop sign at U.S. 74-76. According to N.C. Trooper Bill Rogers, Jackson driving a 2002 Pontiac pulled into the path of a 2002 Freightliner truck carrying a loaded trailer. Lynn Brown of Dillon, S.C. swerved trying to avoid hitting the Pontiac and sideswiped a Ford truck driven by Kevin Benton of Delco. The Ford truck slammed into the driver’s door of the Pontiac.
