Head On Crash Results in Significant Injuries

On December 12, 2006 a head-on collision occurred and due to the amount of damages plaintiff was awarded $250,000.00 in March 2009. Both drivers were operating their vehicles on the same road but in opposite directions, when defendant veered into plaintiff’s lane causing the head-on collision. Due to the extent of her injuries she spent a total of four days in the hospital receiving treatment for her lacerated spleen and liver, chest wall contusion and induced anemia. She also suffered significant injuries to her foot and scapula which yield her to obtain a 40% impairment rating to her left foot and requiring pain management for the rest of her life.
