Greensboro Police Say Teen Charged In Crash Didn't Have License

Shortly after 4 p.m. on January 3, Greensboro police, fire, and EMS responded to the scene of a two-car accident in which personal injuries were suffered at the intersection of English Street and Spencer Street.

According to investigating officers, the accident occurred when a 16-year-old male driver attempted to turn left onto Spencer from English. Police said he turned into the path of another vehicle, which t-boned the one he was driving. Three people received transport to the hospital with injuries that were not considered to be life-threatening.

Police say the 16-year-old was charged with driving without a license and failure to yield right of way.

The accident remains under police investigation.
