A woman from Jefferson County, Texas claims that she sustained personal injuries to her left wrist and arm while performing waitress duties at The Gold Club, a gentlemen’s club in Beaumont, Texas.
According to the suit she filed on February 10 in Jefferson County District Court, Christy Tippett was working at The Gold Club on June 24, 2007 when she was caused to fall after one of her co-workers came into contact with her.
Tippett claims that the fall and the injuries she suffered as a result caused her lost wages, pain and suffering, medical expenses, physical impairment, physical disfigurement, and lost enjoyment of life.
The suit alleges negligence on the part of The Gold Club for failure to provide Tippett with a safe workplace, failure to coordinate the work in order for it to be performed in a safe manner, failure to enforce their own safety programs, failure to inspect the worksite to ensure that it was safe, failure to properly train its employees, and failure to remedy the condition that caused Tippett’s fall.
Tippett seeks damages in excess of the minimum jurisdictional limits of the court in addition to pre- and post-judgment interest, costs, attorney’s fees, and other relief deemed just by the court.Post a Comment to "Gentlemen's Club Waitress Injured In Fall"
