On March 12, an ambulance in Orange County overturned, causing four people to sustain personal injuries.
According Trooper D.L. Meets, one patient and three medical workers were injured around noon when the ambulance overturned on N.C. Highway 86, near New Hope Church Road.
None of the injuries were believed to be life-threatening. All four injured persons received transport to UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill.
According to Meets, the ambulance's driver was at fault. He overcorrected after the ambulance ran off the road to the right, resulting in the ambulance overturning.
