
A firefighter in northwest Houston, Texas suffered personal injuries when he was bitten by a dog as he was attempting to stop flames from spreading through an apartment building.
At about 1:30 a.m. on the morning of August 21, crews responded to a fire at the 24-unit building. Four of the units burned to the ground and two suffered extensive water and smoke damage.
The firefighter underwent treatment for his injuries at the scene. He is expected to be fine.
