Feeding Babies Cow Milk May Lead To Type 1 Diabetes

According to a recent study, babies who are fed with milk from cows may have a higher risk of development of the disabling condition of type 1 diabetes later in life.

The reason for this is because the protein beta-lactoglobulin, found in cow’s milk, stimulate the babies to produce antibodies which also attack glycodelin, which is a vital protein for training the immune system.

This results in a disturbance in the immune system, which then misguidedly destroys pancreatic cells that produce insulin, which leads to type 1 diabetes.
