A 22-year-old man from Fayetteville died of the personal injuries he suffered in a crash in South Carolina on October 3.
According to a report from authorities in South Carolina, 22-year-old Kencorie Vereen died in a crash that occurred on S.C. 905, approximately 12 miles south of Loris, South Carolina.
According to South Carolina Highway Patrol Cpl. Paul Brouthers, Vereen was northbound with the right rear tire of his vehicle separated and he lost control of the car.
Brouthers said the car hit a ditch and collided with a tree before catching fire. He said Kencory was not wearing his seat belt at the time of the crash.
