Fayetteville Accident Causes Death
Fayetteville Accident Causes Death
A three-vehicle accident along Eastern Boulevard claimed the life of a Fayetteville man Wednesday afternoon.
According to the Fayetteville police report Kenneth Jerome Gamble Jr., 38, of Fayetteville died from injuries resulting from the crash, after being transported to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
Stanley Britt, 54, driving a 1999 Ford pickup had been traveling east on Eastern Boulevard when it collided with the 2011 Hyundai, driven by Gamble.
After the collision Gamble’s vehicle rammed into a third vehicle operated by Rufus H. McLean, 67, of Spring Lake. Mr. McLean was stopped on Old Wilmington waiting to turn east onto Eastern Boulevard.
The accident is under investigation.
