Fatal Crash Claims Knightdale Woman

The North Carolina Highway Patrol reported that a woman from Knightdale suffered fatal personal injuries in a single-vehicle accident in Clayton on the night of September 7.

According to the NCHP, 55-year-old Teresa Cooke Keeter was northbound on Pritchard Road at approximately 6:30 p.m. when her vehicle ran off the road to the right.

Keeter attempted to return to the road, but the vehicle overturned and ejected her, the NCHP said.

Speed was listed as a factor in the crash on the accident report. Keeter’s was the only vehicle involved.

Keeter received transport to WakeMed in Raleigh after the accident, but was later pronounced dead there.
