Family Of DJ AM Amends Suit Over Plane Crash To Include Wrongful Death
The family of deceased musician DJ AM have amended a negligence suit filed against companies filed against a plane crash in which he suffered personal injuries, adding allegations of wrongful death.
His family claims that before the near-fatal crash he survived in 2008, he was a successfully recovering drug addict. However, they say the crash caused him to begin abusing prescription drugs to cope with anxiety and pain.
DJ AM, whose real name was Adam Goldstein, died of a drug overdose on August 28. His family claims it was ultimately caused by the plane crash.
